30 Hero Codes

I'm planning on taking part in the 30 Characters challenge this year.

It's something that I've wanted to do since it started, and have finally gotten around to signing up for it.

Initially I was going to do a more "writery" take on the challenge, offering up short sections of prose describing characters in the midst of some activity (perhaps using my plans for the second series of Omnitarium as a basis).

However, Here Code artist and all round fantastic Canadian, Jonathan Rector, contacted me a little while after I'd signed up and asked if I'd be interested in collaborating on the challenge, perhaps using it as a board to introduce the great Hero Code world.

I lept at the chance.

Here's a rough idea as to what I'd like to do for the challenge - a kind of A-Z Handbook to the Hero Code universe (we may even put together a little book at the end of the challenge):

I already have more than 30 characters planned out, and have found that thinking about the great Hero Code world has inspired me to come up with two story arcs already.

One down, twenty-nine to go!
