I have an idea for Long Beach Comic Con...
Lot's of people have spoken to me about the paradox of choice, about the simplification of suggestion and all kinds of other cute sounding cod-psychological op-eding when it comes to selling your dreams to the disinterested.
So, for the next convention I attend, I intend to simplify the pricing structure of my table.
Everything on it will be priced at $5 each.
If you buy five items, it will be discounted to $20 for the five items.
That is all.
As I intend to have around five comic books and around 5 prints available at that time, there will still be an element of choice, a pick and mix moment which may make some people stop and think for a while.
I have four months to prepare, so I better get back to work!
