I love letters pages in comics, and used to read the first issue letters page filled with wonder - who were these lucky people who had seen the book before it had been released? How did someone get onto that mailing list?
Some of the best letters pages were great dialogues between fans and creators.
Some contained great ideas or suggestions for what to look at beyond they world they discussed.
Some asked questions which begged answers (most often than not, the answer was "keep reading, all will be revealed!")
Some even gave away prizes!
With Hero Code, I always wanted a letters page - but indie books take their time to get going, indie books are slow builds, indie books have to create a fan base from the ground up.
Hero Code will be relaunching issue one as the non-Kickstarter edition, as I've discussed here before. Featuring Jonathan Rector's cover, it will be ready for Long Beach Comic Con in November.

I'd love to have the relaunched edition have a letters page.
