What is the Theatre of War?

We're moving along nicely with The Hero Code at the moment.

Issue 2 is coming along, with about half the pages of line art finished.

The Theatre of War mini-series is going great also.

So what exactly is the Theatre of War? Why a new number one, or prologue or Hero Code or whatever, I hear you say?

Well, The Theatre of War (TOW hereon) is a four issue mini-series which takes place in the Hero Code universe during WWII. It's a self contained story, but does introduce some characters and threads that will be coming up in the ongoing series also. It was also give rise to some new questions about the Hero Code universe as we go along.

So what is the Prologue?

To completely overcomplicate matters the self-contained four issue mini-series has a stand alone single issue prologue comic which leads into the mini-series.

Telling the origin of the character, The Occultist, this issue is available to download now from Gumroad (and is currently available as a name-your-price book).

So what about the issue two of the ongoing that is already out?

That was a stand alone "fill-in" issue (by David Brame et al). It still is part of the ongoing series, but will be renumbered as issue 6 in the new numbering.

To summarize, the Prologue issue is finished, out now.
